The bold statement made by Dr.Oz that Garcinia cambogia extract can be considered as the most effective way for weight loss raised the hope of people who are eager to lose weight. However, people are quite speculative about this fruit extract and so we often find people asking the question, does Garcinia cambogia work? In order to answer this question we must first consider the result of a certain researches. According to a meta-analysis it is found that the extract of Garcinia cambogia may possibly have small as well as short-term weight loss effects and it may also be accompanied by side effects like hepatotoxicity.
